NuSource is proud to celebrate our partnership with First Alliance Credit Union in launching their state-of-the-art Mobile Branch—a full-service financial experience on wheels designed to expand access throughout southeast Minnesota.

This innovative initiative brings modern financial services directly to the people and communities who need them most. Built with mobility, security, and connection at its core, the new First Alliance Mobile Branch is equipped with Hyosung Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs)—integrated by NuSource’s expert team—and powered by SuperGIG™ multi-carrier and LEO satellite connectivity to ensure seamless transactions wherever the road leads.

A Full-Service Credit Union on Wheels

The 40-foot mobile unit offers all the personalized, secure services of a traditional branch—without the limitations of distance or location. Inside, members will find:

  • Two private offices for opening accounts or applying for loans

  • Two advisor-supported Hyosung ITMs for deposits, withdrawals, payments, and live video teller access

  • Full connectivity to Fiserv EFT and Portico Core, plus BV Teller integration for smooth, real-time service

Each interaction provides the same advanced, member-first experience First Alliance delivers in its physical locations—now extended to the heart of rural communities.

Technology with Purpose

For NuSource, technology is only as meaningful as the impact it creates. This project exemplifies how innovation can meet inclusion—combining our expertise in secure financial technology with First Alliance’s mission-driven service model.

Funded in part through a U.S. Treasury CDFI Technical Assistance Grant, the Mobile Branch supports financial inclusion by breaking down the barriers of geography, transportation, and accessibility. It ensures that individuals and families—especially those in underbanked areas—can open accounts, access loans, and receive trusted financial guidance close to home.

A Legacy of Showing Up

Since 1932, First Alliance Credit Union has stood for partnership, belonging, and opportunity. Founded during the Great Depression when community members came together to help one another, that spirit continues today through this new Mobile Branch initiative. It’s a “commitment on wheels”—bringing financial stability and education to 14 counties across southeast Minnesota. (If you would like to discuss how the First Alliance Mobile Branch could visit your area, contact First Alliance at 507.288.0330 or www.firstalliancecu.com)

NuSource is honored to have played the key technology role on this project—integrating the latest Hyosung ITM technology and secure connectivity to ensure the Mobile Branch operates with reliability and efficiency anywhere it travels.

Innovation That Moves Communities

As the Mobile Branch begins its journey, it will visit small towns, community centers, and local events—partnering with nonprofits and employers to bring dependable, high-quality financial services to residents across the region.

For NuSource, this partnership represents what’s possible when credit unions and technology providers work hand-in-hand to empower access, inclusion, and progress.

Together, we’re driving the future of financial services—one mile, one community, and one connection at a time.
