How
do you use CONNECTdirect?
While the technology is sophisticated, using
CONNECTdirect is simple. If
you’re a person looking for opportunities,
here’s all you do:
- Register as a new member. There’s
no cost to you to be a member of NuSource
- Enter your personal profile into CONNECTdirect
- your experience, capabilities, and
contact information
- That’s it, you’re done!
Your profile information is safe with us.
NuSource is committed to protecting the privacy
of our members. We will use our best efforts
to make sure your information remains private,
and is used only for the purposes that you
have disclosed it to us. Unless
we have your consent, we do not disclose information
about your individual visits to NuSource.com,
or personal information that you provide,
such as your name, address, e-mail address,
telephone number, etc., to parties other than
those intended, except when we believe the
law requires it. Please review our

When we say direct, we mean direct
It’s what happens after you enter your profile
that makes ConnectDirect unique.
Using CONNECTdirect's on-line
search engine, hiring managers identify candidates
whose experience and capabilities match their
current staffing requirements. Immediately.
Then they can contact you directly
– usually by email, sometimes by fax or phone
- to see if you’re interested in their opening.
With CONNECTdirect, the jobs find
you.
What
does NuSource get out of it?
We charge the hiring customer a fee for access
to CONNECTdirect - a fee that
is only a fraction of what they currently
pay for locating people. So everybody wins.
With CONNECTdirect, you're in control!
We’ve built several features into CONNECTdirect
so you can control who has access to your
profile and resume. As part of the registration
process, you can:
- Select
which type of companies you wish to
be able to view your profile and resume
- Inform
hiring managers that you are only
interested in jobs at one of your
'top ten' preferred work locations
- Make
your profile 'Inactive', and unavailable
for view by any hiring manager should
you wish to be completely 'off the
market' for a while.
After
you have completed your profile, you can come
back and change any of these selections any
time you wish.
